What is
Emsella?
EMSELLA is a breakthrough treatment for incontinence and confidence. This unique technology is intended to provide entirely non-invasive electromagnetic stimulation of pelvic floor musculature for the purpose of rehabilitation of weak pelvic muscles and restoration of neuromuscular control for the treatment of male and female urinary incontinence. The Emsella treatment has been shown to enhance sexual wellness, increase sensitivity, and improve the symptoms of erectile dysfunction.
Pelvic floor muscles are the layer of muscles that support the pelvic organs and span the bottom of the pelvis. Strong pelvic floor muscles give you control over your bladder and bowel. Weakened pelvic floor muscles mean your internal organs are not fully supported and you may have difficulty controlling the release of urine. EMSELLA utilizes electromagnetic energy to deliver thousands of supramaximal pelvic floor muscle contractions in a single session. These contractions re-educate the muscles of incontinent patients.

A typical treatment takes about 30 minutes and you will need an average of 6 sessions, scheduled twice a week for 3 consecutive weeks. While one individual treatment with us is $300, our package of 6 is only $1350 which is a savings of 25%.

You will experience tingling and pelvic floor muscle contractions during the procedure. You may resume daily activities immediately after the treatment. You may observe improvement after a single session and the results will typically continue to improve over the next few weeks.
Following your initial series of 6 treatments, we recommended one maintenance treatment at least every 3-6 months. Maintenance treatments within 12 months of your series are only $150 per session! If you do not receive any maintenance treatments within 12 months of series completion, we will recommend that you complete a new series.

Currently, EMSELLA is not covered by insurance. However, many Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Federal Flexible Spending accounts (FSA) may cover the EMSELLA treatment. Call to verify if your specific HSA or FSA covers “pelvic floor rehabilitation via electro stimulation.” If it does, you may submit a receipt for reimbursement based on the rules set forth by your plan.
