What are Dermal Fillers?
​Dermal Fillers are cosmetic injections that temporarily restore volume and soften certain types of wrinkles. They work by plumping the skin with gentle ingredients like hyaluronic acid to fill hollows and wrinkles. These ingredients are formulated to be soft and cohesive. Dermal fillers contain a high-quality base of hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxylapatite and typically focus on areas of the face such as lips, cheeks, jaw, and wrinkles.

The procedure takes just 30 minutes to an hour. Dermal Fillers such as Restylane, Radiesse, Belotero, and Revanesse VersaTM are suited for moderate to deep lines, marionette lines, radial lip lines, oral commissures, and nasolabial folds. Unlike expression lines, which temporarily appear on the skin due to overuse of facial muscles, aging features remain etched in the skin due to a loss of collagen and elasticity. Dermal Fillers correct this by temporarily filling the wrinkles with very small aliquots, so the wrinkled area is more level with the surrounding skin. Dermal fillers also work wonderfully to add volume to facial features that lack fullness due to genetics and aging. Dermal Filler injections can enhance thin lips, flat cheekbones, sunken temples, hollow tear troughs, and a poorly defined chin.

Dermal Fillers Results & Recovery
The effects of Fillers are long-lasting, anywhere from several months to a year or more, depending on the product and your personal metabolism. The results speak for themselves! Book your consultation to learn how dermal fillers can eliminate wrinkles and enhance your face and body without surgery.
Most of our patients can resume their daily activities right away. While there is little downtime with dermal fillers, patients may experience short-term redness, tenderness, bruising, and swelling. Avoid alcohol, saunas, exercise, NSAIDs, fish oils, Vitamin E, and rubbing the treated area for 24 hours. However, you must adhere to no saunas, working out, or strenuous activity for 48 hours. No flying or scuba diving for 48 hours. No dental work or vaccines within two weeks of your visit.

Migration of dermal fillers can happen over time, meaning they move to an area where it was not injected. This can be a result of overfilling, the breakdown of filler, or the muscles in your face moving it around. While this is not harmful, it may not be aesthetically appealing. Fortunately, we have an option to “dissolve” filler with hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down the hyaluronic acid used for fillers.

While most patients are candidates for fillers, there are certain instances where treatment is not suitable. For example, pregnant and lactating women can’t have fillers. Certain medical conditions, active infections at the injection site, neuromuscular disorders, and allergies to any of the ingredients, such as lidocaine, in Dermal Fillers may also disqualify some individuals from having fillers. Those with a history of HSV or cold sores receiving injections on or around the lips may need to obtain antiviral medication from their primary care provider for pre-treatment to help reduce the incidence of developing a sore post treatment.

Plumped Pout
Whether you want plump lips or a subtle enhancement, our expert injectors will help you achieve your desired look. We completely customize your lip treatment to address your specific goals and concerns - whether that's sharpening the lip contour, balancing lip asymmetry or proportion, restoring or increasing volume, or adding a boost of hydration to smooth subtle cracks. Multiple sessions may be required to achieve your perfect lips and typically require retreating once per year. (approx. 45 min)
Revitalized Wrinkles
In this treatment, we will target some of your more pronounced and bothersome wrinkles in the lower half of the face. This typically includes smile lines and vertical upper lip lines. Oftentimes, these wrinkles are a symptom of volume loss and we may recommend additional treatment to ensure you receive the best result possible. Your expert injector will use small aliquots of filler directly into the wrinkle to provide support, plumpness, and hydration to help soften it. Results will continue to improve for up to three months post-treatment. (approx. 60 min)
Bright Eyes
As we age and lose volume in our faces, undereye hollowing may occur, or for some, it is simple genetics. Using select dermal fillers, your injector will help restore volume to brighten your eyes by reducing the appearance of depth under the eyes. Oftentimes, you will need to replace lost volume to the midface before adding to the tear troughs, and not everyone is a candidate for this treatment. This will include one syringe of dermal filler and treatment may need to be repeated to achieve your desired results. This is one situation where it is better to under-correct and add additional filler if needed than have too much. Tear trough filler is one of the areas that may be prone to migrate and require dissolving later. (approx. 60 min)
Chiseled Jaw
Whether you’re starting to experience jowls as a sign of aging or want a more chiseled look, this treatment is for you. It can help to disguise the early signs of jowls while extending and sharpening the jawline. Your experienced provider will develop a tailored treatment plan from our curated menu of dermal fillers and biostimulators using 2 to 3 syringes per visit. The jawline may require a series of appointments to achieve your desired result.

Contoured Cheeks
As we age, we lose volume in our facial fat pads and develop laxity in our skin and retaining ligaments. We will even experience bone recession. This can reduce our natural cheek plumpness and contour causing an increase in the appearance of nasolabial folds, jowls, and even undereye hollows. Your experienced provider will develop a tailored treatment plan from our curated menu of dermal fillers and biostimulators using 2-3 syringes. And don’t worry, this treatment won’t leave you looking drastically different. Multiple sessions may be recommended for more severe volume loss to achieve your most youthful result. (approx. 60 min)
BioSculpt Collagen Treatment
Biostimulators are injectable treatments that encourage the body to produce more collagen, leading to rejuvenated, firmer, and smoother skin. They work from within to improve skin quality and volume over time, offering natural-looking, long-lasting results. Unlike traditional fillers that provide immediate volume, biostimulators enhance the skin's regenerative capabilities, gradually improving texture and elasticity. This treatment can be used in the face, neck, chest, or other areas of the body with skin laxity such as arms, abdomen, and above the knees. We utilize Radiesse and for most, a series of treatments is needed for optimal results. We recommend repeating this treatment annually once you reach your ideal enhancement. (approx. 60 min)
Chin Shaping
Balancing filler treatment for the chin to seamlessly slim the face, lengthen the jawline in women, and strengthen the jawline in men. This is particularly helpful in balancing your profile. This will include one syringe of dermal filler and treatment may need to be repeated to achieve your desired results. (approx. 45 min)
Facial Balancing
A comprehensive treatment method to balance facial structure and volumize precise fat compartments that have hollowed with age. Your experienced provider will develop a tailored treatment plan from our curated menu of dermal fillers and biostimulators.
